Growing up, I thrived in leadership roles – it happened naturally and organically. I loved the energy and sense of team, I loved working toward a common goal and getting there together – or failing together – and determining how we were going to make it better next time.
Once I entered the professional world, I seemed to excel. I advanced quickly in the roles that I had. I loved the thrill, the pace, the excitement.
Then I reached a point in my career where I was stuck, stagnant, swimming in quicksand wearing concrete shoes. There was no advancing within my company no matter how hard I tried. I became down on myself – I felt like I was letting my family down. I was focusing only on the fact that I was failing. I lost sight of my accomplishments. I lost sight of the fact that I was achieving great things outside of my company. I lost sight of the fact that I am capable of achieving so much more than what was right in front of me.
So I embarked on a journey to uncover my true passions and determine what my next chapter should be.
There’s one thing I knew – I wanted to help people, I just wasn’t sure how.
This site is dedicated to sharing my journey. Here, I share the people, places, and resources that have taken me on the ride of a lifetime and lead me to the next chapter…
I am beyond excited to share with you that I have honed my passions for Personal Growth and Leadership Development to begin a career as a John Maxwell certified Speaker, Coach, and Trainer. I am thrilled to help others develop plans for personal growth and believe within themselves there are no limits to what they can achieve, to provide companies with education in leadership development and effective communication – to create cultures in which employees go to work because they are deeply excited to do so, and to work with schools and local communities to help prepare today’s youth to become tomorrow’s leaders.
I can’t wait to update you on my current chapter and how it’s going! In the meantime though, I want to hear from you! What’s your story? Contact me.
